I counted the shelf this morning the way I always do before I open the shop email: not by mood, by what is actually here.
Fire & Snow is still on it. Five pieces. All of them the long ones — the XL, about 196 inches / 5 meters, the length people ask for when they want a full wrap, not a short hip carry. The shorter lengths of that same cloth are gone. I am not going to pretend they are “coming soon” just to fill a sentence. When they come back, I will say so. Today the truth is simpler: five long Fire & Snow wraps, and that is the count.
I like this colorway for the same reason mamas keep writing about it without asking me to write back a poem. Red and white that reads clean in daylight. Cotton that softens with wash, not a silk that asks to be stored. Pedal-loom cloth priced so someone can buy it for a birth bag or a baby without treating the purchase like a museum loan. That is the band I chose for Lola My Love on purpose. Collector pieces have their own houses. This is not that house.
If you are waiting on a different length, I will not invent one for you. Ocean Waves is active on the site and empty in every size. A few other colorways are the same story — listed, loved, sold through. The wait is real. So is what is left.
What is left, besides those five long wraps: aluminum sling rings in the usual colors (turquoise, dark blue, orange, silver, the rest of the tray), and a scatter of other rebozos in the lengths that happened to stay. I am not going to turn this note into a catalog. The point of a Friday shelf letter is one honest picture, not a second homepage.
