I counted the shelf again this morning. Not the whole catalog. One length people keep asking for when they are packing a birth bag and do not need a five-meter wrap.
Teal Fiesta is here. Four pieces. All of them the 98-inch / 2.5-meter length — the medium cloth, the one I tell doulas to put in the kit before they chase every color on the wall. Teal and seafoam with navy, orange, yellow, and magenta in the stripes, multicolor fringe, cotton from a foot-pedal loom. That is the count. I am not going to dress it up as a “restock drop” or invent a fifth one for the sentence.
Last Friday I wrote about Fire & Snow and the long ones. Those five XL wraps are still on the shelf; the shorter lengths of that same red-and-white cloth are still gone. Today’s note is the other side of that picture: the medium length is not empty. If you have been waiting for a 98-inch working rectangle — not a souvenir scarf, not a collector silk — Teal Fiesta is one of the honest answers on the shelf right now.
I like this length for the same reason it keeps leaving in boxes. It finishes most labor work. It wraps a belly without drowning a smaller body. It goes in a bag without pretending to be a full wrap carrier. When someone writes asking for “the rebozo,” this is usually what they mean, even when they do not know the inches yet.
What I will not do: pretend Fire & Snow short is back, invent Ocean Waves stock, or turn this letter into a second homepage. Rings are still in the tray in the usual colors. Other cloths are active in their own lengths. The point of a Friday shelf note is one clear picture.
